We keep AI cold and online.

Liquid-cooling construction, retrofit, and embedded maintenance for mission-critical facilities.

When rack density climbs, cooling stops being a background system. ColdForge audits the loop, builds the retrofit in controlled phases, and stays on the record with documented maintenance after turnover.

High-density racks changed the job.

AI racks can concentrate approximately 120 kW of load in a single rack-scale system. Operators know direct liquid cooling becomes necessary as density rises — but most facilities were not originally built for the loops, coolant distribution units, controls, and maintenance discipline that follow. The hard part is not buying a CDU. The hard part is integrating it into a live facility without creating leak risk, commissioning chaos, or a maintenance orphan. ColdForge exists for that gap.

Audit. Build. Care.

One entry point, in order. A paid audit produces the evidence. Narrow retrofit scopes follow where the evidence supports them. Embedded maintenance keeps the loop on the record after turnover.

ColdForge Audit

Liquid-Cooling Readiness & Leak-Risk Audit. Know where the loop can fail before the next phase lands. We review the installed system, the drawings and records behind it, the retrofit path, and the maintenance routine. You get a risk register, an asset record, and a phased plan your team can price and act on.

  • CDU and loop configuration review
  • Piping, manifold, valve, hose, and connection inspection
  • Leak detection, containment, alarm, and isolation review
  • Records, water-quality, test, and O&M gap review
  • Retrofit sequencing and rollback feasibility
  • 30 / 60 / 90-day corrective-action plan

02 — Narrow scopes

ColdForge Build

Retrofit & Installation. Add capacity without betting the facility on a loose cutover. ColdForge performs narrow, well-defined liquid-cooling scopes for operators, GCs, and mechanical primes — with isolation, testing, documentation, and commissioning support built into the plan.

  • CDU piping and utility connections within licensed scope
  • Facility-water (FWS) piping; technology-cooling-system (TCS) piping
  • Rack-row manifolds and distribution piping
  • Rear-door heat exchanger hose and header connections
  • Valves, sensors, containment, and leak-detection support
  • Pressure testing, flushing, filling, and turnover records
  • Commissioning support

AFTER THE AUDIT — DISCUSS A SCOPE

03 — Embedded

ColdForge Care

Embedded Maintenance. The install is not the finish line. A named ColdForge lead maintains the inspection rhythm, tracks findings to closure, coordinates water-quality checks, manages critical spares, and reports loop condition in plain language.

  • Preventive inspections on a documented cadence
  • Findings log and closure evidence
  • CDU and loop health checks
  • Water-quality sampling coordination
  • Spare-parts and lifecycle planning
  • Monthly condition and risk reporting
  • Planned repairs within licensed scope

AFTER TURNOVER — BUILD A CARE PLAN

04 — Capability-gated

ColdForge Response

Emergency response is offered only under a staffed service agreement with a defined geography and escalation roster: leak isolation support, containment, drain-down, repair coordination, refill, testing, and incident documentation. It is not sold before the roster behind it exists.

STATUS — GATED BY ROSTER, NOT BY MARKETING

How every install runs

Tested before it runs

No loop is connected and energized on a promise. Every conversion follows the pre-commissioning sequence the standards require — in this order, with records at each gate:

  • Pressure test / hydrotest of new pipework
  • Flush and clean to a cleanliness spec
  • Fill with verified-quality fluid, per loop
  • Leak-detection verification — sensors, alarms, BMS/DCIM
  • Then connect, energize, and commission

BASIS — ASHRAE · OCP PRE-COMMISSIONING GUIDANCE

Our process

Six steps, no shortcuts. The sequence is the product: screen honestly, gather field evidence, phase the work, prove it under test, and stay accountable.

PROCESS
SECTION — 03
GATES — 06
STEP 01

Screen

We confirm the scope, license path, safety conditions, customer rules, and conflict checks before we price work.

STEP 02

Audit

We gather field evidence: equipment, piping, records, access, outage windows, failure modes, and maintenance gaps.

STEP 03

Sequence

We build the retrofit around isolation, temporary conditions, cutover gates, testing, and rollback.

STEP 04

Build

We install in controlled phases, photograph the required gates, and keep changes and test records current.

STEP 05

Prove

We pressure-test, flush, fill, verify sensors and alarms within scope, and support commissioning sign-off.

STEP 06

Care

We hand over an asset register and maintenance baseline — then stay accountable through an embedded care agreement.

ENTRY — PREQUAL + AUDIT
Operators

Data-center operators

For colocation, enterprise, and AI facilities facing higher density, phased expansion, or an aging cooling plant.

Primes

General contractors

For mission-critical teams that need a specialist subcontractor with its prequalification, safety, and documentation house in order.

Package owners

Mechanical primes

For package owners that need CDU, piping, retrofit, testing, and commissioning capacity without handing away the whole mechanical scope.

ADJACENCY, STATED HONESTLY — SEMICONDUCTOR AND ADVANCED-MANUFACTURING COOLING SCOPES PHASE IN BEHIND PROVEN DATA-CENTER WORK AND SEPARATE CUSTOMER QUALIFICATION. COLDFORGE DOES NOT CLAIM CLEANROOM OR TOOL-INSTALL CAPABILITY UNTIL THE PEOPLE, PARTNERS, AND QUALITY SYSTEM BEHIND THE CLAIM ARE DOCUMENTED.

Why ColdForge

ColdForge Industrial was created to solve a narrow problem created by the AI buildout: facilities need more cooling density than their original systems were built to carry, and the work has to happen without compromising live operations. The model is simple — audit the risk, build in phases, prove the work, maintain the loop.

ABOUT
SECTION — 05
POSTURE — STRAIGHT PROOF
Retrofit-first

The first question operators ask

Ease of retrofit is the first question operators ask about liquid cooling. It is our first question too — every audit is built around phased cutover, isolation, and rollback.

Documentation

Documentation is part of the work

A loop without records is a future argument. Our turnover packet includes the asset register, test evidence, photo gates, punch closure, and maintenance baseline.

Scope discipline

Narrow beats noisy

We would rather own a defined cooling scope completely than chase every mechanical package and supervise none of them well.

Proof posture

New company. Straight proof posture.

ColdForge is a new specialist. We lead with method, licensed scope, prequalification transparency, and a paid audit — not borrowed logos or inflated history. For GCs and mechanical primes: annual prequalification readiness, safety program and training records, insurance and bonding documentation, named supervision, a license / scope map, and QA, testing, and turnover procedures.

FAQ
SECTION — 06

Are you a mechanical contractor or a cooling company?

ColdForge is a mission-critical liquid-cooling construction and maintenance specialist. The exact performer for each regulated task is confirmed through a license / scope map before work is proposed.

Can you work in a live data center?

That is the environment the retrofit process is designed for. Each project still requires site rules, access approval, isolation points, outage windows, and a rollback plan — including phased work in which the row never powers down.

Do you design the system?

ColdForge provides field verification, constructability, coordination, and design-assist support. Where a licensed professional engineer is required, that work is performed or stamped by the project's properly licensed engineer.

Do you guarantee no leaks?

No honest contractor can guarantee that. We reduce leak risk through design review, controlled installation, pressure testing, cleanliness, sensor verification, documentation, and maintenance — and we define response and warranty responsibilities in the contract.

What happens at the rear door?

With a rear-door heat exchanger, the servers stay air-cooled — the heat comes off at the door, where the coil captures exhaust heat and returns room-neutral air. Direct-to-chip work is different: there, coolant reaches the cold plate at the component. We scope each technology as what it actually is.

Where do you work?

Texas / Gulf Coast. Mobilization terms are set per project, after the audit.

Before the next rack row lands, know where the loop can fail.
